Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at our automotive dealership. The Automotive Service Advisor will play a vital role in customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and ensuring that our customers' automotive service and repair needs are fully met.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers in the service department, listen to their concerns and assess their automotive maintenance or repair needs;
- Schedule maintenance and repair appointments according to customer availability and department capacity;
- Advise customers on recommended services based on manufacturer's recommendations and specific vehicle needs;
- Coordinate service activities with technicians and other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of work;
- Provide regular updates to customers on the condition of their vehicle and advise of any additional work required;
- Handle customer complaints and problems in a professional and proactive manner, seeking satisfactory solutions.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in the automotive sector, preferably in a customer service or service advisor role;
- In-depth knowledge of vehicles and their systems, as well as basic automotive mechanics;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently while being an effective team member;
- Proficiency in computer tools and automotive service management software (DMS).
