Mechanic

MECHANICI - 4-day week, from Monday to Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Communauto, world leader in car-sharing, has created a new Mechanics and Maintenance division, inaugurating its first workshop in Montreal (Lachine) in August 2022 and a second workshop in Rivière-des-Prairies in the near future. What will your days be like as a Mechanic?

Reporting to the workshop manager, you will be involved in various maintenance and repair activities on our different vehicles. You'll be responsible for:

- Lubrication and oil changes;
- Installing tires, including rotation and balancing;
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs on cars and vans;
- Tune-ups;
- Brakes;
- Suspension;
- Perform light diagnostics
- Maintain and repair hybrid and electric vehicles

Job requirements:

- Experience as a Mechanic is required;
- Technical knowledge of most cars and light trucks;
- Valid driver's license (class 5) and good driving record.

- DVS in mechanics or significant experience in automotive mechanics;
