Service Advisor

Responsibilities - your mandate:

The Service Advisor will greet customers and gather the information required to identify and define customers' vehicle repair and maintenance needs. He/she will be responsible for selling maintenance services and following up on work done, while ensuring quality customer service.

Customer-related tasks:

- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and obtain information about their car;
- Advise customers on car care;
- Schedule maintenance appointments;
- Sell lubrication, safety inspection and similar services, or any other maintenance required by the manufacturer;
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor and parts;
- Check progress of work throughout the day. Communicate with customers regarding any changes to the estimate or turnaround time, explain costs and time involved in detail, and obtain appropriate authorization before additional work is carried out;
- Review repair orders to ensure work is completed and additional repairs and authorization are recorded. Close repair orders according to standards.

Your profile:

- You have at least 1 year of experience in a similar position in an automotive dealership;
- You have good mechanical knowledge;
- You have multitasking skills, structure and organization;
- You are able to manage priorities and follow through rigorously;
- You have good computer skills (knowledge of SDS [Serti] software a desirable asset).
- You are punctual at work.
