Job description

Hamel Honda, a member of Groupe Olivier Rive-Nord, is currently seeking a General Manager.

Salary:

Brief job description:

Under the Groupe Olivier Rive-Nord's Vice-President's supervision, the person will be responsible for directing all dealership activities, developing a culture that values an excellent customer experience through training, supervision, coaching and performance management of work teams. The jobholder will use organizational skills to implement strategies to achieve organizational objectives. The candidate will have to recruit, train, motivate and empower his/her management team in order to achieve set objectives, and ensure follow-up and compliance with company and manufacturer policies and procedures. The Manager will have to establish and implement annual budgets, work closely with the controller to review forecasts and ensure their consistency with annual forecasts.

Our requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a General Manager position in the automotive industry;
- Experience in sales and fixed assets;
- Good knowledge of the pre-owned vehicles department, including marketing and purchasing;
- Excellent computer skills (Merlin, Serti and Activix, SharePoint and Office Suite are major assets);
- Experience in managing employees and work teams;
- Mastery and understanding of financial and retail principles;
- Good analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Results, profit, customer and team oriented;
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
