Job description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for preparing, registering and submitting manufacturer warranty claims.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Process dealership warranty claims;
- Process all warranty entries to ensure proper documentation;
- Verify manufacturer's requirements;
- Reconcile all warranty receivables and payments according to the appropriate schedule;
- Record credits in computer;
- Resubmit rejected claims as soon as possible, or obtain authorization to write them off;
- Follow up on payment of any outstanding claims;
- Keep abreast of all manufacturer recalls and bulletins;
- Keep abreast of all Audi service campaigns, recalls and notices;
- Collaborate with the workshop team to resolve problems with warranty repair orders;
- Coordinate the destruction of parts if instructions call for them to be scrapped;
- Coordinate shipment of warranty parts to be returned to Audi CanadaReview, correct and resubmit previously rejected claims;
- Reconcile all receivable warranties and work with accounting department to obtain payments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Good knowledge of French and English (oral and written);
- Good organizational skills;
- Knowledge of Office suite software.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in an after-sales environment;
- Experience with Audi or VW (an asset);
- Experience in customer service and support;
- Experience with ERA (Reynolds).
