Job description:
The Shop Foreman is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of shop operations. He/she plays a key role in managing the team of workers by planning, organizing, managing and controlling the progress of after-sales service work, in-house work and deliveries of new and pre-owned cars. All in a timely manner and ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer and the company.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate workshop activities to ensure efficient, high-quality production;
- Coordinate after-sales service work with in-house work to manage a good flow within the service department;
- Allocate tasks among workshop workers and ensure resources are used optimally;
- Follow occupational health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment;
- Check work progress;
- Review repair orders used by technicians to ensure that the designated work has been performed and that the repair order has been completed correctly;
- Organize shop work schedules to ensure maximum productivity;
- Ensure production deadlines and performance targets are met;
- Coordinate parts requirements with the parts department;
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of shop machines and equipment;
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order.
Skills:
- Familiar with Serti software;
- Good communication and problem-solving skills;
- Knowledge of automotive mechanics;
