New Vehicles Sales Representative

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this position is responsible for advising, selling/leasing vehicles according to the dealership's gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards.

MAIN DUTIES :

- Greet customers and establish a relationship of trust as quickly as possible.
- Help customers choose a vehicle by asking them questions and listening carefully to their answers in order to identify and prioritize their needs.
- Explain product performance, operation and benefits to customers
- Offer test drives to potential customers
- Explain the terms and conditions of long-term leasing and traditional purchase according to the customer's needs
- Know and understand the notions of equity and residual value, and be able to explain the principle of depreciation to customers
- Negotiate the price and have the transaction approved by the Sales Manager
- Notify Sales Manager of any exchange, refund or credit note
- Report all completed transactions to the Sales Manager
- Keep abreast of new products and accessories
- Know and understand all federal, provincial and municipal laws governing automotive retail sales
- Check cars sold for delivery to customers prior to their arrival.
- Deliver cars to customers, ensuring they understand operating specifications, warranty and paperwork
- Introduce customers to after-sales service staff to highlight services offered.
- Solicit and seek out new customers on a regular basis
- Assist with showroom display and vehicle parking
- Present self in a professional manner
- Perform other duties as required and directed by management

REQUIREMENTS :

- Sales and customer service skills
- Interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
