The GM CHRISTIN Chevrolet Buick GMC dealership has been established in the east end of Montreal for 66 years, and has been operating a CHEVROLET BUICK GMC franchise for GM Canada since 1972.

The CHRISTIN CHEVROLET BUICK GNMC service team is looking for a Customer Service Clerk to join our administrative team, for a full-time, daytime position.
Located at the service counter, the Clerk will be responsible for responding to customer requests for payment of parts and mechanical service invoices. He/she will use the method of payment most convenient to the customer, either cash, debit or credit card. Invoices can be delivered in person or by e-mail. The customer service agent must have good communication, sales and customer service skills, as he or she will be confirming appointments for the next day's workshop.
The person we're looking for must be organized, structured and show initiative.
Job summary:
- Processing customer invoice payment requests;
- Manage cash register, issue payment receipts and debit/credit card remittances;
- Management of workshop appointment confirmations and OnStar calls;
- Management of contracts and keys for the fleet of courtesy vehicles;
- Customer service management;
- Responsible for checking vehicles on return;
- All other related duties.
Job requirements:
- Assist customers in the invoice payment process;
- Manage billing system, credit card system, and courtesy vehicle management system;
- Manage customer service appointment system;
- Send out monthly statements of account and follow-up e-mails, telephone calls and SMS messages to customers;
- Be receptive to individual coaching on the evaluation of work performance in the after-sales department.
Conditions of employment:
- Fluent written and spoken French;
- Effective and functional command of spoken and written English;
- Knowledge of the usual computer tools for this type of work;
- Willingness to work as part of a team of after-sales service advisors.
Assets for hiring:
- Experience in a car dealership.
