Preparator

We are looking for a Preparator.

Tasks - part 1 - surface preparation:

- Clean vehicle bodywork to remove residues of grease, dust or other impurities;
- Sand the surfaces to be repaired or painted to ensure good paint adhesion;
- Mask parts of the vehicle that are not to be painted (windows, headlights, etc.) with tape and protective tarpaulins;
- Apply fillers to correct imperfections (dents, scratches, etc.);
- Perform fine sanding after sealant application.

Tasks - part 2 - priming:

- Apply primer (or undercoat) to prepared surfaces;
- Sand primer once dry to obtain a smooth surface.

Tasks - part 3 - finishing:

- Perform final polishing if necessary to correct minor defects (traces of dust, slight drips);
- Clean and inspect the vehicle to ensure it meets expectations.

Tasks - part 4 - equipment maintenance:

- Clean tools, such as sanders and masking devices, after each use;
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operation.

Tasks - part 5 - inventory and product management:

- Check inventory of abrasives, masking tapes, solvents, etc;
- Place necessary orders to avoid stock-outs.

Tasks - part 6 - compliance with safety standards:

- Wear personal protective equipment (mask, gloves, goggles);
- Follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and tools.
