Wholesale/Retail Parts Consultant
Eastern Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM 
Winnipeg, MB

Eastern Chrysler is an Auto Canada dealership, and we are looking for a Wholesale/Retail Counter Parts Advisor to join our growing team! We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to our valued clients who choose to order parts and service their vehicles at our dealership. Your love of the automotive industry, dealing with the public in a professional manner, and your commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service will ensure your ultimate success.

Your Key Responsibilities
 

  • Assists Wholesale/Retail and Internal Customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
  • Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
  • Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
  • Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
  • Notifies customers when orders have arrived and ETA of delivery.
  • Pulls orders for delivery to body shop, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number.
  • Follows up on back-ordered parts.
  • Communicates with Wholesale Account Manager on potential new clients.
  • Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
  • Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer and invoice provided.
  • Keeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special-order parts.
  • Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
  • Solicits assigned accounts by phone.
  • Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.
  • Cleans computer terminals and printers daily.
  • Participates in all training programs that are made available.
  • Keeps current on new products and product updates.
  • Participates with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
  • Maintains professional appearance.


Your Capabilities and Credentials 
 

  • 1 - 5 year of FCA experience would be considered an asset
  • Completion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses is considered an asset.
  • Experience with CDK, Xtime and Star Parts is considered an asset.
  • A detailed understanding of Parts and Service operations and inventory management.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A person of professionalism and high integrity who is trusted by others and consistently
  • honours their commitments.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful.
  • High-level skills in Word, Excel, and MS Office etc.
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and have a safe driving history.


What We Offer

Competitive wages $40000.00 - $55,000.00 based upon experience.
