Job Type: Full-Time

We have a great opportunity for an Estimator to join our team at Crown Autobody & Glass South located in the Waverley Auto Mall, at 800-1717 Waverley Street. Crown Autobody and Glass is a state of the art body shop with modern European equipment, specializing in import brands. The estimator may also support other Crown autobody shops on occasion as required.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Conduct quality vehicle estimates, with goal of minimizing supplements and ask/approve variances and repairing vehicle to OEM/MPI/customer standards
  • Disassemble, inspect and reassemble vehicles, costing parts, supplies and labour and determining time for completion of repairs
  • Coordinate work processes and collaborate with technicians and other necessary departments
  • Interact with customers to provide vehicle recommendations and explanations and vehicle updates, as needed
  • Light office duties as needed


Requirements:
 

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Knowledge in vehicle damage estimation and MPI processes/guidelines/systems
  • 3-5 years+ experience with professional autobody repair and familiarity with paint process
  • ICAR Certified in Estimating (preferred) or interest in becoming certified
  • Detailed oriented
  • Mitchell Connect & Repair Center background an asset
  • Disassembly and mechanical experience an asset
