Job Description

Reporting to the Tire Shop Manager, the Tire Technician will complete all tasks related to balancing, installations, and tire rotations. Responsibilities include stocking and repairing tires, assisting members with purchasing tires, writing tire purchases and service invoices, answering questions, making recommendations, and providing prompt and courteous member service. In locations with propane services, the incumbent will be expected to fill propane tanks following all safety procedures once they are certified.

Qualifications: Candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract; preference will be given to candidates with previous tire installation/tire sales experience. 
 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift, pull, and push items over 25 lbs. daily
  • Ability to adapt to new technology
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn


Availability: Monday-Friday (occasional Saturday)
