Automotive Dealership Finance Director
Edmonton, AB 
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Finance Director to join our team. As the Automotive Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our automotive dealership, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maximizing profitability.

Responsibilities
 

  • Develop and implement financial strategies and goals for the dealership
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting and financial reporting processes
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Lead the financing process for customers, including securing financing approvals, negotiating terms, and finalizing transactions.


Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in automotive finance management
  • Strong knowledge of automotive finance and insurance products
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Proven track record of achieving financial targets
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
