Position Overview: 

The Sales Greeter is responsible for welcoming customers to the dealership, providing initial information, and guiding them to the appropriate sales representatives. This role involves creating a friendly and professional atmosphere, answering basic inquiries, and assisting in the customer engagement process to ensure a positive experience. 

Job Description: 
 

• Greet all customers with a friendly and professional demeanor as they enter the dealership.
• Offer assistance to customers and inquire about their needs to direct them to the appropriate sales representative or department.
• Provide basic information about the dealership, including services, promotions, and vehicle inventory.
• Answer general questions and address customer inquiries with accurate and helpful information.
• Assist customers in filling out necessary forms or paperwork if required.
• Ensure customers are comfortable and informed while they wait for a sales representative.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and follow-ups with customers.
• Schedule test drives or appointments as needed, and coordinate with the sales staff to ensure timely service.
• Always maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Handle customer concerns or complaints promptly and escalate to management if necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the greeting area and showroom.
• Assist with managing and organizing customer waiting areas and refreshments.
• Inform customers about current dealership promotions, events, and special offers.
• Distribute marketing materials and encourage customers to participate in dealership events.

Requirements: 
 

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in an automotive or retail environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor with a positive attitude.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to lift and carry light to moderate objects as needed.
• You must be legally authorized to work in Canada
