Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Product Specialist to represent our brand at the upcoming Everything Electric CANADA Autoshow. The Product Specialist will play a critical role in educating attendees about our vehicles, showcasing their features, and creating a memorable experience for visitors. This position requires a deep passion for automobiles, strong presentation skills, and the ability to connect with a diverse audience.

The Details:

Activation Date and Time: September 6th, 7th and 8th from 8am-6pm (times mat vary)
Location: Vancouver Convention Centre

Casting Call: August 23rd (times to be determined)

Pay Rate : starting at $25/hour

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Product Demonstration: Expertly present and demonstrate the features, benefits, and technology of our vehicles to auto show attendees.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with visitors in a friendly and approachable manner, answering questions and providing detailed information about the vehicles on display.
  • Brand Advocacy: Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying the brand's values and messaging while interacting with the public.
  • Lead Generation: Collect and record visitor contact information for potential sales leads, ensuring data is accurately captured and reported.
  • Training & Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on all product offerings, including vehicle specifications, technology, and any promotional activities, to ensure accurate and informed communication with visitors.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with the auto show team to ensure the booth is set up according to brand guidelines and that all materials are in place.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team by identifying potential customers and facilitating further discussions with them if they express interest in purchasing.
  • Reporting: Provide daily reports to the event manager, including visitor feedback, frequently asked questions, and any challenges encountered.

Qualifications:
 

  • Experience: Previous experience as a product specialist, automotive sales representative, or in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Automotive Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of automobiles, especially the brand's vehicles, features, and technology.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.
  • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a polished and professional appearance throughout the event.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the event team and adapt to changing environments.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, during the auto show.

Physical Requirements:
 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable interacting with a large number of visitors in a busy, crowded environment.
