Technician / Mechanic - class 1, 2 or 3

HGrégoire Nissan Saint-Eustache is looking for a Mechanic / Technician!

We are looking for someone in class 1, 2 or 3.

Schedule:

- Full-time;
- Permanent year-round;
- 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

- Perform work described on repair order efficiently and accurately, according to dealer and manufacturer standards;
- Determine the cause of any defect and repair;
- Determine vehicle defects based on customer complaints and own inspection;
- Contact parts department to obtain necessary parts;
- Examine assigned vehicle to determine if additional safety and maintenance work is required;
- Notify the technical advisor and/or foreman as soon as possible if additional work is required, if the work described is not necessary, or if repairs cannot be made;
- Install any optional equipment requested by the customer or dealer;
- Report any equipment defects or malfunctions to immediate supervisor;
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order;
- Test drive vehicle, if necessary;
- Participate in training programs required to keep skills up to date, as well as in manufacturer-sponsored events;
- Keep abreast of manufacturer's technical bulletins;
- Perform other duties as required and directed by management.

Requirements:

- Experience in a car dealership;
- Specialization in alignment;
- Speed of execution;
- Concern for a job well done;
- Sharp sense of observation;
- Good physical condition;
- Canadian resident.

Compensation: up to $90,000 per year.
