Position: Auto Body Technician (NOC 72411)

Employer: Craftsman Group

Employer and Job Location: 810 W. 1st St. North Vancouver, BC, Canada, V7P 1A1. Job location in various locations in GVRD and Vancouver Island

Term: Fulltime permanent 

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Wage: $30/hr + $3/hr in performance bonus 

Vacation: 3 weeks/yr
Duties and responsibilities:
 

• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
• Clean and maintain work space
• Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
• File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired
• Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
• Repair or replace interior components
• Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment

Requirements
 

• Red seal certification or foreign equivalency to be eligible for Red Seal
• Proficiency in the English language
• At least 4 years of experience
