Brief job description:
You will manage and control the rental portfolio. The main duties are listed below, but the incumbent may be assigned to other functions.
Job description:
- Keep abreast of current leasing programs and promotions from the builder and banking institutions;
- Process all leasing documentation and maintain detailed records of all leasing transactions (CRM Activix);
- Maintain an accurate daily register reflecting all leasing/renewal operations of the dealership (CRM Activix and AutoAlert);
- Produce various reports including the ratio of retail sales versus leasing, % of renewals, % of customers lost and reasons for loss, and other relevant statistics (CRM Activix report);
- Manage all lease inquiries (residual net balance) and, if necessary, take steps to contact the customer quickly;
- Analyze lease files 24 months prior to contract expiry;
- Establish a strategy for renewing the customer using AutoAlert;
- Take over lease contracts from orphan customers (service conquest);
- Supervise lease returns, including appointment scheduling, vehicle inspection and reporting (if the customer is buying back their car);
- Analyze the files of customers whose purchase is financed by a financial institution, and prepare a recovery plan based on the customer's equity;
- Anticipate potential transactions from the leasing portfolio, for example, by posting vehicles in the used car sales department 24 months before contract expiry;
- Keep abreast of possible new vehicle arrivals;
- Understand and keep abreast of federal, provincial and municipal regulations affecting leasing and lease advertising;
- Participate in weekly sales team meetings;
- Attend directors' meetings by invitation;
- Present self in a professional manner;
- Perform other duties as required and directed by management.
This is a full-time, permanent position ($55,000 to $120,000 per year).

- Day shift;

Experience:
- In management: 1 year (preferred).
