As an Automotive Red Seal - Pre-Owned Technician with Steele Halifax Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, you will be responsible for helping restore pre-owned vehicles into mechanically like new condition.This role will be integral for growing the pre-owed division within Halifax Chrysler.

Earning Potential: $62,400 - $90,000+ Annually

Responsibilities:

 

• Support our booming and growing pre-owned business.
• Ability to work on a diverse selection of makes, models and years.
• Work on vehicles to bring them up to standard and take pride in your ability to see the before and after.
• Ability to troubleshoot unique problems or vehicles.
• Inspect, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems as required.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications.
• Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements.
• Diagnose faults and confirm findings with supervisor.
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.

Qualifications:

 

• Passionate about the automotive industry.
• Well organized, possess a good work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Hard working, self-motivated and have excellent time management skills.
• Have a valid driver's license and be able to provide an acceptable driver's abstract.
• Have a valid Motor Vehicle Inspection License.
• Must be Red Seal Certified.

Facial hair will interfere with the ability to achieve a proper seal on CSA-approved respirators; therefore, it is a requirement that staff must be clean-shaven.
