Job description

AutoCanada is hiring an experienced Service Advisor for the busy Hamilton area. 

Our exceptional team of automotive service professionals is looking for an experienced full-time Service Advisor to support our busy Fixed Operations team. 

You will play a key role in curating the service experience for our valued customers and work closely with our Fixed Operations to bring this to fruition. 

Your love of cars and dealing with the public coupled with your commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service, will ensure your success as a Service Advisor.

Your Day to Day: 
 

  • Create quotes and work orders for repairs
    Consult with technicians regarding repairs/maintenance & provide options to customers including in-depth information about available aftermarket & OEM part options
    Work with parts department to determine parts availability and scheduling of future appointments
    Monitor Automotive Technician parts requests and provide quotes to Service Advisors
    Advise customers about warranty protections and potential cost savings


What You Bring to the Table: 
 

  • Minimum 1 year + of automotive Service Advisor experience required, preferably in a dealership environment
  • Knowledge of CDK or similar systems is an asset
  • Familiarity with the warranty function in a dealership environment is helpful
  • A valid Ontario driver's license and the ability to drive manual transmission is required for this role
