Fleet Services Admin

The Fleet Services Administrator will be responsible for ensuring efficient administration of the Linehaul and P&D Fleet.

How You'll Help
 

  • Prepares various reports and distributes them to the business as required.Scheduled arrival report
  • Daily and weekly run sheets are audited and data is entered for appropriate pay.
  • Answers inquires from drivers and brokers regarding pay, monthly meetings, and other administrative actions.
  • Broker Mail Distribution
  • Work collectively with various external vendors to ensure transactions are managed within company guidelines
  • Managing Compliance related requirements of the fleet and holding accountability for timeliness of turning and completion of those requirements.
  • Support for driver feedback and engagement, documenting and driving results for their concerns.
  • Manage Creditcard month reconsilation for toll management
  • Process PO's for our Tire and Maintenance requests for the fleet
  • Audits brokers for applicable documentation and government compliance items.
  • Utlizes strong communication skills to ensure proper interaction with driver, brokers and terminal staff to gain desired results of resolution.
  • Quickly and practically solves problems in a timely manner. Investigates root cause for late arrivals and engages in analysis to communicate and implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Ensure that Linehaul procedures are current and available to team members and that policies are able to be followed by all or that assistance can be provided when necessary.
  • Participate and support in the companies various rewards and recognition programs with the fleet.
  • Record meeting minutes for fleet meetings, organize and build highlighted points into an action plan.


Your Skills & Experience: 
 

  • Minimum of secondary education, with preference of post-secondary education (general stream), or a combination of education and experience.
  • Previous Transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation would be beneficial
  • Communication skills - advanced
  • Computer skills - accuracy, MS products, TruckMate, web based programs
  • Demonstrated customer relationship skills
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Able to work deadlines in high transactional environment
  • Ability to champion business needs in a collaborative manner to colleagues
  • Ability to review data and manage reports
  • Results focused
  • English, other languages an asset
