We are currently accepting applications for Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join our team. 

Responsibilities include:
 

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and faults
• Order appropriate parts
• Complete repairs
• Clean and maintain equipment and tools
• Safe operation and upkeep of company mobile service units
• Various other garage-related activities

We are looking for the following skill sets and experience:
 

• 2-5 years of progressive experience as Heavy-Duty Service Technician preferred
• Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Red Seal Truck and Trailer Mechanic would be considered an asset
• Valid class 5 driver's license and clean drivers abstract
• Air brake endorsement considered an asset
• Any advanced diagnostic training considered an asset
• Familiar with mechanical reliability principles and programs
• Well versed in machine software packages
• Strong safety mindset, with the ability to perform all duties with a high degree of safety consciousness
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Technologically inclined (Computer, Smartphones, Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Can work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to work independently
