Bodywork Technician

Carstar Charlevoix is expanding rapidly. Following the signing of new contracts with local car dealerships and insurers in Quebec, Carstar needs to find experienced Technicians with a passion for bodywork.

Over the past year, Carstar Charlevoix has carried out major renovations to its offices and workshop, as well as acquiring new technology tools and a computer system.

CARSTAR specializes in body repair, auto glass repair and replacement, and cosmetic touch-ups.

The job offers a salary competitive with that of major urban centers, but is located in the beautiful Charlevoix region.

Your responsibilities:

- Carry out repairs and bodywork restoration on damaged or damaged vehicles;
- Diagnose defects and deformations on body components;
- Carry out straightening, welding, sanding and painting operations;
- Ensure the quality of repairs and compliance of work carried out with manufacturer's standards and safety requirements;
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient management of repairs;
- Prepare service reports and communicate spare parts requirements to the appropriate department;
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
