Service Advisor

Position: Service Advisor

Role summary:

The Service Advisor's main role is to assist customers, coordinate appointments and services, and process service-related documents. He/she collects payments, maintains invoices and billing records. He/she also helps resolve customer problems with the aim of maintaining a high level of satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

- Setting up appointments with customers;
- Create work orders and establish pricing;
- Process payment for all completed jobs;
- Maintain registry of courtesy car rentals;
- Visual inspection of incoming vehicles;
- Assist Manager in tire inventory management;
- Ensure car inventory is up to date and in order;
- Resolve service-related problems;
- Coordinate activities with other departments;
- Organize maintenance and repair work on in-house fleet vehicles.

Qualifications / requirements:

- 3 to 5 years' experience in the automotive industry related to after-sales service;
- Experience in logistics and vehicle maintenance;
- Technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance (an asset);
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet customer needs;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Team player;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Strong organizational skills: ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines and managing a high volume of customer inquiries;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French;
- Good command of IT tools and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
