About the Role

Monks is seeking an experienced Social Strategist to join our expanding Strategy team.In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring the social media strategy for our prestigious automotive clients, focusing on increasing brand awareness, improving marketing efforts, and enhancing sales and performance. As a Social Media Strategist, you should have excellent multitasking skills to handle all our social media accounts in a cohesive way.
Responsibilities:
 

  • Design social media strategies and organic social media plans to achieve marketing targets for our automotive clients
  • Lead cross-functional teams in content creation, planning, scheduling, and community management to align brand communications with social media strategies.
  • Liaise with writers and designers to ensure content is informative, appealing, and optimized for each social media platform
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product development teams to create social 'buzz' regarding new vehicle launches and brand initiatives
  • Facilitate client-company communication (respond to queries, get reviews, and organize chats and Q&A sessions)
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on social media performance and audience engagement
  • Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization to improve overall performance
  • Communicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network and stay informed about automotive trends
  • Train internal teams to integrate and maintain a cohesive social media strategy across all brand accounts
  • Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices in the automotive industry

About You
The essentials:
 

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Strategist or Social Media Manager, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Hands-on experience using social media for brand awareness and community building
  • Understanding of social media metrics and analytics tools
  • An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them, specifically for automotive brands known for their luxurious, innovative, and high-performance vehicles
  • Familiarity with social media content creation and publishing best practices
  • In-depth knowledge of the social media environment, formats, trends and up-to-date on relevant cultural events
  • Proven ability to develop digital ecosystems and find opportunities in emerging and new platforms
  • Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry and its unique social media challenges and opportunities
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

What We Offer

Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Media.Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.
