Job description

As a Fleet Dispatcher, you will be expected to execute the day to day activity of your assigned driver fleet. This includes monitoring of the fleet, accurately distributing, receiving and updating information. You would be responsible for identifying and participating in the resolution of issues relating to day to day activity of the Driver. You must be well organized, an excellent communicator and have a keen sense of timeliness in carrying out daily activities.

Responsibilities:
 

  • This involves the transmitting and receiving of all information relevant to the driver performing his/her duties within the Company and customer requirements.
  • The handling of all driver related satellite messages or calls within assigned and overflow queues.
  • Reporting and documenting of all customer service, planning and driver related issues to the appropriate personnel

  • You must have dispatch experience in order to be considered for this role
  • Dedicated experience providing customer service in a similar work environment
  • Well organized, an excellent communicator and have a keen sense of timeliness
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, communication, problem solving and planning abilities
  • Ability to multitask and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent problem solving abilities


The Part Time Fleet Dispatcher position is subject to a Friday and Saturday schedule working a 12 hour shift

NOTE: this role is in TEER 4, and has a National Occupation Classification (NOC) of 14404.
