What you'll be doing:

 

  • Prepare, submit, and process warranty and related claims in accordance with manufacturer policies and procedures, as well as Company guidelines.
  • Opening, reviewing, and closing of repair orders as necessary to facilitate claiming processes.
  • Reconciliation of warranty payments.
  • Liaise with Service Advisors and/or technicians as necessary for warranty clarification or related inquiries.
  • Consistently monitor claim statuses for processing, discrepancies, errors, or monetary imbalances.
  • Remain up to date and knowledgeable of manufacturer recalls, campaigns, and bulletins.
  • Administration of completed paperwork and documentation (Self-audit, filing, etc)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


What you bring to the table:

  • 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry in a similar or related Service Department function.
  • A basic minimum of automotive knowledge with a functional understanding of a vehicles' operations.
  • Working knowledge of CDK is an asset.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office and Google suites).
  • Demonstratable ability to handle inquiries positively, respectfully, and in a fashion representing company standards and expectations.
  • Extremely high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Someone who is very self-motivated, independent and a team player with a sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask, prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
