The Licensed Tractor Technician will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Tractor Mechanics, and the other Trailer Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action.

Qualifications: 
 

• A Licensed Heavy-Duty Mechanic (310T).
• Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities.
• Experience using computers to enter work orders.
• Previous experience and qualification to perform Safety inspections are considered an asset in this position, ability to obtain CVIP is mandatory.

Specific responsibilities include:
 

• The technician is responsible for performing maintenance on tractors, this involves diagnosing problems that are found during the inspections and prescribing the correct remedial action.
• Performing repairs on issues that are diagnosed during the inspection and preventative maintenance in a timely, effective and efficient manner.
• Entering work orders.
• Maintaining shop cleanliness, attending team meetings and performing other miscellaneous repairs on Bison Transport equipment.
