Job Summary

How you will make an impact:

You will be responsible for managing and performing tire changes and scheduled maintenance work on all customer company fleet vehicles.

As a Mechanic, you will:
• Provide management and operation for tire change over seasons
• Ensure all tire changes are performed to customer and safety specifications
• Train staff on use of air tools, hoists and tire changer / balancer
• Manage Tire Techs to ensure scheduled vehicles are completed and safety procedures and policies are being followed
• Follow customer defined operation standards and workshop safety procedures
• Complete and sign off check sheet for each completed vehicle
• Ensure tire inventory is accurate and properly stored
• Ensure workshop area utilized is cleaned and organized at the end of each shift
• Pick up and drop off customer vehicles in designated parking areas
• Perform required service as per the service schedule posted by the customer
• Log service history in computer file
• Order and maintain a minimum inventory of regularly required parts and supplies
• Maintain list of vehicles waiting for parts in order to complete the service
• Assist Workshop Techs if they require technical information or assistance with tools or equipment
• Ensure all tools equipment utilizing is in safe working order
• Other duties that management may assign

About you:
• Valid 310S license (non-negotiable)
• Valid G Drivers license
• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in the automotive industry
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Previous OEM dealership experience is not mandatory, but highly valued
• Own Tools
