DTO - Specialist Sales - Calgary

As a DTO Sales Specialist you will provide training to new and existing customers on our Dealer Management Software. You will be responsible for assisting with customer training on the phone, leading up to the new software completion. The DTO Sales Specialist also assists the customer when required with new software installation training onsite in person. 

Job Responsibilities:
 

• Write up tickets and investigate issues that are beyond a DTO Trainer skillset, escalate issues to the corresponding teams
• Respond to both internal and external difficult training requests in a timely manner
• Work directly with multiple customers at a time; train all sessions in assigned module(s)
• Complete key dealer structure set-up and training for the complete dealer process
• Be able to talk about and navigate our DMS Software to be able to better assist customers with any or all requests within your silo
• Provide ongoing training on the software and different disciplines within the company
• Ability to manage and create positive partnership with larger groups
• Understand product integration and impact of different silos in the PBS system
• Understanding the "bigger picture" (what you are doing and why)
• Assist with mentoring other members of the team as per DTO leads direction
• Help to create a positive working environment
• Maintain at least 1 certification in main discipline
• Willingness to commit to an ongoing system of education and cross-training
• Perform other duties when required

Qualifications:

 

• Certified in the PBS Service module, additional certifications considered an asset
• 1-2 years previous experience in the automotive industry or dealership environment
• High School Diploma
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - web
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong multi-tasking & prioritization abilities
• Travel within Canada and the USA (up to 2 weeks per month) is required
• Ability to work nonstandard hours starting at 7:00, 7:30 or 8:00am and occasionally Saturday and/or Sunday

To qualify for this role, you must: 
 

1. Have been in your current role for at least 6 months
2. Have no PIP (Performance Improvement Plan)
