As a Body Shop Parts Consultant, your role is integral to the seamless operation of our auto
body shop. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement,
organization, and distribution of parts necessary for the repair of vehicles. Your attention to
detail and ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors will
contribute to the efficiency and success of our autobody repair services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Process all claims and work orders, prepare correspondences and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction
• Offer an efficient, courteous, professional experience for our customers, while being adaptable to the needs of our customers
• Enhances body shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different
requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Communicates with insurance company on a regular basis regarding coverages, deductibles, etc
• Manages and maintains body shop rental fleet including billings to the insurance company
• Keeps accurate mileages, fuel tanks, oil changes, etc
• Books appointments for both repairs and estimates, with a good understanding of the insurance process
• Assists Repair Planner with ordering parts and creating Repair Orders
• Collection of payment owed to Capital Automotive Group or to the insurance company
• Explains repairs completed on the vehicle to the customer
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 2 years of experience in an auto body shop environment.
• Friendly, empathetic, and dynamic, attentive and able to build a relationship of trust with clients
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize and maintain professionalism during high-volume periods

• Self-driven to work independently with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
• Working knowledge of body shop software such as CollisionLink, PartsBridge, Audatex, Mitchell
Repair Center, and Mitchell Connect.
• Valid Drivers license with a clean driving record
