Job Title: Parts Clerk
Department: Parts Department
Location: Nissan Gabriel St Constant
Reports to: Parts Manager

Job Summary:

The Parts Clerk is responsible for assisting in the sale and distribution of automotive parts and accessories for Nissan vehicles. This role involves managing inventory, assisting customers, and ensuring efficient parts operations in the dealership's parts department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer Service: assist customers, technicians, and service advisors in finding the correct parts and accessories for Nissan vehicles. Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Inventory Management: hHelp maintain accurate parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking parts. Perform regular inventory checks and ensure that parts are stored correctly.
- Sales: actively sell parts and accessories to customers in person, over the phone, or online. Promote special deals, offers, and Nissan genuine parts to maximize sales.
- Order Processing: process parts orders from service technicians and customers. Ensure parts are available and ready for service appointments. Prepare and issue invoices, process payments, and handle returns or exchanges.
- Documentation: maintain proper documentation for parts transactions, including recording parts received, parts distributed, and inventory changes. Follow dealership procedures for maintaining accurate records.
- Warehouse Organization: keep the parts department and storage areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow safety guidelines when handling and moving parts.
- Collaboration: work closely with the service department to ensure that parts are available for repairs and maintenance. Communicate any backorders or delays to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in an automotive parts department, preferably in a Nissan dealership, is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of automotive parts, inventory systems, and basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift and move parts up to 50 lbs.
