Position Overview:

Are you a meticulous automotive expert with a passion for cutting-edge technology? Join our elite team as an ADAS Researcher, where you'll be at the forefront of the automotive industry's revolution, ensuring the safety and precision of the latest driver-assistance systems. In this pivotal role, you will be researching OEM documents to confirm which calibrations are required as per the repairs being completed. 

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Software Updates: Execute software updates and reprogramming for ADAS modules, staying current with the latest advancements in automotive technology.
  • Customer Interaction: Clearly communicate with clients, explaining the nuances of ADAS functionality and repairs, offering guidance and reassurance regarding the safety features of their vehicle.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians, service advisors, and manufacturers to stay informed of industry developments, new tools, and advanced techniques.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records of all repairs, calibrations, and diagnostics performed, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.


Qualifications:
 

  • Education: Completion of a technical program or certification in automotive technology, with a focus on ADAS or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician, with specialized experience in ADAS calibration, diagnostics, and repair.
  • Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of automotive electronic systems, advanced diagnostic tools, and software used for ADAS.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision and attention to detail in all aspects of diagnostics, repair, and calibration.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to articulate complex technical information to clients and colleagues.
  • Continuous Learning: Eagerness to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in ADAS technology.
  • Knowledge of estimating software such as Mitchell, Qapter, All-Data, ADAS Think, is an asset but is not required.
  • Other Calibration and Vehicle related activities as assigned.
