Journeyman, Apprentice or Service Attendant

Service Attendant wanted for a full-time position (38 hours per week) - permanent position available now!

We offer a salary of $22 to $38 per hour depending on experience and knowledge with an air-conditioned workshop!

About us:

Garage Labrosse Inc, in business since 1941. We offer maintenance, repair and advanced diagnostic services. We are a certified electrical workshop. We are a meticulous shop, dedicated to a job well done, and we meet the requirements of all manufacturers when performing work.

Tasks to be performed - Journeyman or Apprentice:

- Maintain vehicles: inspection, tires, fluid changes, brakes and more;
- Diagnose / replace / repair parts for: steering, suspension, exhaust (welding), brakes, engine, transmission and more;
- Diagnose fault codes and other electrical and electronic problems;
- Repair electric and hybrid vehicles;
- Research technical information;
- Diagnose / replace / repair air conditioning system components.

Tasks - Service Attendant:

- Install and balance tires;
- Manage storage;
- Assist Journeymen or Apprentices.

Desired qualities:

- Have your apprentice or journeyman card in auto mechanics;
- Own a toolbox and tools, or be willing to invest in one;
- Have a valid driver's licence (mandatory);
- Have a halocarbon card (an asset);
- Understand English (an asset);
- Have knowledge of Shopkeypro (Mitchell ProFemand) and Alldata information software (an asset).

- An altar scanner (3) updated regularly, Snap- On scanner, 2 oscilloscopes, OBD1 scanner (for older technology as needed);
- Snow-cleared parking for personal vehicles;
- 2 weeks closed at Christmas;
- Work uniform.

Regular schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Summer schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
