Job description

Our pre-owned vehicle dealership Le Super Centre St-Jérôme Auto Dépôt is looking for a motivated and experienced individual to help us continue our progress and obtain the best inventory of vehicles in the Laurentians region.

Duties and responsibilities:

The main objective of this position is to purchase used cars from dealerships in order to supply the Carbur Group's network of 3 dealerships:

- Develop their purchasing network by visiting car dealerships on a regular basis, (a big plus if the candidate already has a network of contacts);
- Negotiate purchase prices and purchase cars;
- Understand and analyze statistical data on the used vehicle market (lease returns, fleets, finance repossessions, etc.);
- Ensure that you obtain the RDPRM, Car Proof, contract and registration with your purchase;
- Perfect your knowledge of vehicle makes and models;
- Improve and perfect the evaluation of the value of used vehicles;
- Learn and master the impact of repair costs on the purchase price;
- Collaborate with various internal groups (finance, transport and logistics, service, sales, etc.);
- Follow up arbitration cases, if necessary;
- Communicate results on a weekly basis to his/her superior and be open to comments and suggestions for improvement;
- With the team in place, grow the number of purchases annually.
