Experienced Service Advisor

The Service Advisor communicates directly with the customer and takes care of his or her maintenance and repair needs. This position acts as a liaison between the mechanic and the customer. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential to succeed in this position and enhance the customer experience.

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Understand customer needs and offer a complete solution;
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, by phone or in person;
- Handle sensitive situations with professionalism;
- Complete and analyze repair orders with customers;
- Estimate the cost and duration of maintenance and repair interventions. Ensure that the final invoice corresponds to the estimate, and that the vehicle is delivered on time;
- Liaise between customers and technicians and manage the status of purchase orders;
- Plan maintenance and repair schedules;
- Use work order management software, so must be comfortable with computers.

Requirements:

- Able to work under pressure;
- Knowledge of market trends in the automotive service industry;
- Knowledge and understanding of automotive mechanical components;
- Ability to work effectively with automotive parts ordering and work order management software;
- Experience in a comparable position;
- Valid Quebec driver's licence.
