Inside the Role
The Team Leader of Fleet Services will oversee customer service for the DTF portfolio, as well as DTF Truck pre-term lease maturity processes. The Team Leader will coach and mentor team members on providing superior customer and dealer service with the ultimate goal of satisfying and exceeding Balanced Scorecard objectives for Daimler Truck Financial Services Canada Corporation.
This is a DTFS Band 90.

What You Drive at DTFS
- Responsible for overseeing the operations of the Customer Service team and managing a collaborative work environment
- Monitor operations reporting to ensure that high-priority work tasks, within the customer service and truck pre-term maturity functions, are completed on time and correctly. Share results of reports, and methods to improve on results with the Customer Service team
- Coordinate with other Team Leaders on customer accounts to address customer account issues and in order to protect company assets. Be available to take in-bound customer service calls in time of high volume call periods and CSR absences.
- Mentoring/Coaching of direct reports in an effort to develop and foster talent. Identify opportunities for process improvements through coaching, reviewing business reports and developing action items to enhance team performance and customer experience.
- Supporting department initiatives and company-wide projects when required.
- Regularly work with Collections, Credit, Funding and DFM's as needed.
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Completed High School Diploma
- 1+ years of relevant work experience within Financial Services
- 1+ years of Customer Service experience
- Professional & Interpersonal skills: Customer Service Phone and Written Communication Skills
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing
- Strong knowledge of Alfa, FAW, Fiori, Five9, MS Office, Cognos
- Supervisory experience, leading a small team
