Heavy Vehicles Mechanic - HULL / GATINEAU AREA - $32.18 per hour

We are looking for Heavy Vehicles Mechanics for a permanent full-time position with a daytime schedule (weekends off).

Training as well as development and advancement opportunities are offered in addition to allowances for the purchase of tools and work clothing.

QUALIFICATIONS :

- Diploma in heavy vehicle mechanics and/or 5 years' experience in a similar position;
- P.E.P. certificate of competency;
- Knowledge of electrical problems (an asset).

MAIN DUTIES:

- Perform preventive maintenance checks (P.E.P.);
- Check and complete work orders and various registers;
- Keep the garage running smoothly and maintain a clean environment (workstation);
- Follow proper work and tool use procedures for a safe workplace;
- Meet deadlines;
- Carry out necessary repairs on buses and sedans;
- Perform road tests.

We offer:

- Very competitive salary;
- 40 hours per week (9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.).
