Job Description
The Financial Analyst Intern will be supporting the Plant Finance team for several key responsibilities. The primary role will be assisting the Project Analyst with a variety of finance activities related to the battery electric investment at Windsor Assembly.
The Financial Analyst Intern will also assist with the completion of the month end close process and provide support for the daily/weekly/monthly cost performance reporting by plant division. Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to:
- Asset capitalizations, transfers, and disposals
- Submitting projects and tracking spending
- Performing financial analysis by plant division for key performance indicators (KPI)
- Month-end responsibilities including journal voucher preparation, variance analysis and reporting of actuals
- Supporting SOX and internal controls
- Innovating to support process improvements
- Handling special projects as needed to support corporate objectives

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Working towards or recent completion (within one year of graduating) of a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
- Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently
- Must be a self-starter and able to manage special projects to completion
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications

Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum ONE (1) year experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in computer programming, Power BI, or comparable software
