Location: Vars, Ontario

Hours: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

OPENLANE, a leader in automotive remarketing, is looking for a Stock In/Security for our Vars, Ontario location with experience in inventory control and customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with vehicles, or in a security capacity.

You Will:
 

  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting dealers with various procedures and requests in an efficient and timely manner
  • Ensure site security by maintaining the auction perimeter and verifying proper clearance for personnel and customers, transporters, and supply companies
  • Responsible for completing vehicle check-in/check-out as per established procedures, using a handheld device
  • Ensure vehicles are processed with window stickers and GPS transponders
  • Look up AuctionTrac data for customers, guiding them to where the inventory is located


Must Haves:
 

  • 1-3 years experience in a Security role is preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A valid Drivers' license is required
  • Valid BST license (if required in province)
  • Basic computer & smartphone skills
  • Experience working outside in all weather conditions
  • Strong customer service and communication skills


Nice to Haves: 
 

  • Ability to drive both standard & automatic transmissions
  • Bilingual in French/English
