Job Description
Job Posting: Gatehouse Officer/Vehicle Inspector
Location: Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta
Wage: Starting at $18.96 per hour Position:
Schedule Full time: Monday - Friday, 8 hours a day
Position Overview: A Gatehouse Officer/Vehicle Inspector position in the Fort Saskatchewan area offers the successful applicant a challenging position with the opportunity for advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect delivery and personal vehicles entering/exiting site
• Control site access/egress for deliveries and visitors.
• Answer phones calls from switchboard
• Issue ID badges
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of security experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Must have a valid driving license
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Strong computer skills, Windows 10/11
• Excellent prioritization skills and multi-tasking ability.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate a strong attendance record.
• High school diploma required.
• Must have an individual Security Officer's License through Alberta Solicitor General.
