Job description
Located in SAINTE-AGATHE-DES-MONTS, seeking a motivated candidate to fill an Service Manager position that will eventually manage all fixed operations of the dealership.
The Service Manager will be responsible for managing the service department in an efficient and cost effective manner by ensuring efficient personnel management, customer retention and maintenance of all service records.
Tasks:
- Forecast and achieve departmental goals in collaboration with supervisor;
- Know and apply the terms and conditions of the manufacturer's warranties and policies;
- Maintain a high quality repair service and reduce returns to the shop;
- Conduct intermittent audits of work performed to ensure thoroughness and quality;
- Hire, train, motivate, and mentor service department employees and ensure their performance;
- Plan and organize the technical training of employees as needed;
- Ensure compliance with Quebec occupational health and safety laws in order to provide a safe environment for the team;
- Create and maintain harmonious relationships with customers in order to build customer loyalty and ensure that their recommendations for potential customers are collected.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid driver's licence;
- Experience in a similar position and in management;
- Be punctual, rigorous and professional;
- Demonstrate great attention to detail;
- Have a good team spirit;
- Have knowledge of SDS Win / Serti (ideally).
