Working Title: Offshore Stewardship, Federal Fleet Services
Employment Status: Full-Time
Approx Salary: $61K
Benefits: Available from day 1, and travel to site and home
Address: Offshore via Victoria and, Halifax NS B4A 2Z2
Requirements:
- All candidates must hold valid Canadian passport
- Offshore experience is an asset
- The following certifications will be required:
- STCW PSC (Proficiency in Survival Craft)
- STCW Basic Safety
- STCW Marine Advanced First Aid
- STCW Ships Personnel with Designated Security Duties
- Marine Medical
- Fingerprint Clearance will be required to move forward with position
New Hire Schedule: 12hr/Day, Rotation: 42 Days On/42 Days Off

Job Summary
How you will make an impact:
You will participates in the daily operation within the accommodations and catering unit.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of food handling and food preparation
- General principals of housekeeping and janitorial duties
- Excellent people skills & Team Player
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised or unsupervised
- Camp kitchen experience is an asset
- Ensure good order and maintenance of all equipment by immediately reporting any deficiencies to supervisors
About you:
- Janitorial and/or housekeeping experience in hospitality, healthcare, and residential/commercial cleaning is an asset.
- Capable of communicating in English (listening speaking, reading, writing) with clients, co-workers, and management
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have the capacity to work long periods away from home, as the typical work rotation is twenty-one (42) consecutive 12-hour workdays, however this can be extended due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
