What you'll do & Who you are
We are looking for an enthusiastic Inside Sales Account Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, you will nurture and grow the long-term relationships of a large portfolio of clients to increase market share. You will take a data-driven approach using a variety of tools including Tableau and Salesforce to evaluate performance. You will have a hybrid model, working in our new downtown Toronto office twice per week, in an environment that rewards being bold and having fun.
What You'll Do:
- Monthly/Bi-Monthly/Quarterly review of the performance metrics of up to approx. 250 existing accounts in the automotive industry.
- Prepare regular sales reports forecasting accurate pipeline and opportunity expansion in CRM (Salesforce).
- Ensuring clients are aware of how to best use the site and take advantage of their online advertising solutions.
- Provide solutions according to customer needs.
- Communicate with clients at all levels of the business through virtual meetings, phone, and email.
- Build and manage main client relationships.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business and personal goals.
- Achieve and exceed account retention, acquisition, and revenue growth goals.
- Maintain knowledge of our product offerings and of new products in the market, industry trends, and new developments.
- Understand current conditions within the marketplace.
Who you are:
- 3+ years of experience in Account Management/Inside Sales, or related experience in the automotive sector.
- B2B Sales Experience in the small and medium/corporate space.
- Customer Service-driven and a team player.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Background in web-based advertising: SEO and SEM, banners, web search, digital media.
- Proficient at reporting, forecasting, and market intelligence to inform sales strategy.
- Sales skills such as: building relationships, negotiating, closing business, and objection handling.
- Be a leader of change by introducing new performance measures, processes, and ways of working.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
