Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Clean Harbors in Breslau, ON location is currently looking for a Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining / repairing heavy diesel equipment within the facility. Wage range for this position: $38-42/hr.

Responsibilities

 

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Perform all required maintenance and repairs to various types of equipment;
• Pefrorm maintenance which follows the manufacturer guidelines;
• Complete all paperwork required to track PM schedules;
• Ensure the shop area is kept clean, tidy and free of hazards at all times

Qualifications

 

• JM Mechanic certification (310T license)
• 5 + years' experience in maintaining of one or more of the following units: pickup trucks, tractors, and trailers;
• Familiarity with the various types of diesel engines;
• Ability to oversee, coach and mentor all apprentices and other shop laborers;
• Ability to work in a team environment.
