Convergint is currently recruiting for a team-oriented Fleet Coordinator to join their team in Fort McMurray. As the Fleet Coordinator, you will report and take direction from the Convergint Maintenance Supervisor. You will ensure the portfolio of work they are given by their Supervisor is maintained. The portfolio of work will consist of day-to-day operations, mainly helping tradesmen and building operators with their tasks, making deliveries and clean up. This will be Monday - Friday, 10 hour days.

What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"
- Assists trades and building operators performing service and maintenance-related tasks on a daily basis.
- Perform Firewatch and Confined space Monitor duties
- Keeps up to date and informed on company products, services and policies.
- Liaises with the Safety Coordinator ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are followed by colleagues.
- Attends and supports daily toolbox meetings.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required by the customer MacKay River Supervisors and the Convergint Supervisors.
- Executes all work in accordance with Provincial, local regulations, general best practices as well as company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Acts as "our customer's best service provider" at all times thereby ensuring Convergint is the customer's first choice for service.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision
- Travel to and on jobsites is required. Valid driver's license required/mandatory.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to keep tools and work area tidy.
- Demonstrate flexibility responding to emergencies and rapidly changing needs.
- Good understanding of OHS regulations and procedures.
- Good ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with the occupants in the designated building areas, the contractor employer, other subcontractors, and customers vendors of choice.
- Good customer service skills and abilities.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of previous, commercial and/or industrial based Labourer experience
- Ability to drive 1 ton pick-up and tow trailers around Plant Sites
- Must have experience driving and properly securing loads
- Must have experience operating gas powered pressure washer
- Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
- Previous experience in with painting, changing ceiling tiles, replacing fluorescent lighting tubes
- Oil & Gas industry knowledge and experience is an asset
- Ability to operate AWP/EWP, CSE/CSM and Zoom Boom is an asset
Certifications:
- Training in WHMIS, first aid, emergency procedures and CPR would be an asset.
- OSSA and CSTS Trainings.
- Must have a valid class 5 drivers license with air brake is preferable.
