Our Corporate Headquarters is looking for a Product Planning Intern for a one-year placement. The ideal candidate will be an automotive enthusiast who is very detail oriented, self-motivated, and interested in a career in the luxury automotive industry. As a member of the Product Planning team, you will support in the development and implementation of BMW Group Canada short and long-term product, pricing, and volume strategies. 

You will be responsible for a variety of functions and gain experience working cross-functionally with key business units:

 

  • Support in implementing product and pricing strategies for the Canadian market
  • Preparation for senior executive level product and pricing presentations
  • Competitive research and analysis
  • Development and distribution of internal and external product communications
  • Review of various assets and media for verification of product-correctness
  • Database and systems management, including data extraction, entry, and manipulation
  • Tracking and maintenance of pre-production vehicles


Qualifications: 

 

  • Enrolled in at least the 3rd year of a university program in Business Administration or related discipline
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Very strong attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritize
  • Self-labelled as an automotive enthusiast
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience with Tableau or similar tools preferred, but not required
  • A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
  • Own transportation is also required.
