Our South Surrey Auto Service Centre team is searching for an Automotive Service Advisor! ????

As an Automotive Service Advisor, you'll be the driving force behind every Member's journey with us-from their first booking to the moment their keys are back in their hands. Your role is all about building strong connections, communicating technical details in an easy-to-understand way, and ensuring each Member feels valued and informed throughout the process.

- You have an interest in automotive.
- You're passionate about delivering exemplary customer service, even in challenging moments.
- You're a strong communicator, in person, via email or on the phone.
- You're tenacious and detail oriented.
- You love to learn and aren't afraid to ask questions.
- You're personable and adaptable and strive to always improve your technical skills.
- Flexible hours and weekend work are no problem for you.
What you bring:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the automotive field as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or Automotive Parts Advisor.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs (23 kg), bend, reach, walk and stand for long periods of time.
Once here, you will:
- Greet and check-in customers entering your BCAA Automotive Service Centre
- Act as each Member's trusted advisor when discussing needed repairs, costs, schedule, timeline and preventative maintenance.
- Provide repair estimates and receive Member approval for work to be performed, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up after the repaired vehicle has left the shop.
- Book and maintain the appointment schedule.
- Ensure ongoing and accurate communication among team members involved with any repair.
- Perform shipping/receiving duties and assist in managing the flow of parts throughout the facility.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all BCAA products, best practices, standards, policies and systems as well as industry knowledge and competitors' offerings.

The salary range for this position is $45,406.32 to $56,757.84 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.
