**Please note this is a 12-month contract**
The incumbent is responsible for providing support to the MCPE dealer network nationally, ensuring orders and products get released in a timely manner, assist with any dealer inquiries, handling distribution of units, models, bookings, monitor dealer network procedures and prepare any necessary support and documentation for required measures and countermeasures.
Responsibilities:
Provide effective sales support to the Motorcycle-ATV-PE-Marine-Engine dealer network by:
- Contribute to the attainment of the MCPE wholesale & retail sales objectives through daily SSG tasks.
- Administer day to day release (wholesale) of Dealership product.
- Liaise between Dealers, Honda Finance Inc., carriers & warehouses to ensure timely release of orders.
- Support Dealer inquiries relating to unit requests including distribution and arrival timing.
- Assess gaps and provide needed support documents for countermeasure proposals when necessary.
- Maintain accurate database of Zone MCPE demo units, display models and damaged stock.
- Participate and represent Honda in promotional events such as trade shows, rallies and events.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree and/or related experience
- Bilingual (English/French) is a must.
- Strong knowledge of Power sports industry (Motorcycle, ATV, Power Equipment, Marine, Engines)
- Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to working in a fast-paced team environment with multiple priorities.
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships; strong results-orientation.
- Good communication, interpersonal, administrative, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong PC skills with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Develops and maintains good working relationships and all members of the team.
- Develops and maintains good working relationships within Honda North America as well as all other internal and external stakeholders.
- Enjoys team building approach of management and department - shares results.
