Job Description:

The Payroll Associate is an integral part of the Boyd Group's payroll team responsible for processing accurate and timely payments for approximately 10,000+ employees. Ensuring highly accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll processing is of the utmost importance. 

Key Job Responsibilities 

 

  • Setup and maintenance of employees in the payroll system in compliance with applicable wage and tax laws.
  • Setup and accuracy of taxes.
  • Maintain payroll data by collecting, calculating and entering data on a bi-weekly payroll schedule.
  • Deliver prompt, friendly and efficient customer service to employees who have questions regarding their pay.
  • Keep informed on legislation and regulatory rulings impacting payroll and develop recommended solutions to ensure compliance in all federal and state jurisdictions.


Education and/or Experience Required 

 

  • 3-4 years experience in a similar payroll position processing a full cycle payroll.
  • PCP Certification is preferred.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce and/or Vantage HCM would be an asset.


Required Skills/Abilities

 

  • Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills with a keen eye for details
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage workload within tight deadlines through strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Excel is required
  • Ability to work flexible hours when required
